The San Francisco 49ers had reason to be in high spirits following their 36-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks – and who better to celebrate with than your loved ones?
Players George Kittle, 31, and Kyle Juszczyk, 33, did just that, running over to the stands where their wives, Claire Kittle and Kristin Juszczyk, were watching the game on Thursday, October 10.
In footage shared via X, George and Kyle can be seen celebrating a touchdown by rushing to the stands and jumping up to where their wives were standing.
Claire and Kristin, both 30, appeared equally excited and shared their support for their partners by patting them on the backs, clapping and cheering.
Taking to social media later in the night, Claire shared a post via her Instagram Story. She captioned footage of the game, “”OH WHAT A NIGHT!!!”
Claire has been married to George since April 2019, and told Us Weekly earlier this week she has no problem being referred to as a ‘WAG’, which is an acronym for “Wives and Girlfriends” and is often used to describe partners of athletes.
“It’s a short and quick term, you know?” Claire told Us Weekly on Wednesday, October 9. “What else would have the same effect? It kind of works!”
She also cleared up any misconception that there are any rivalries forming between the women involved in the NFL and insisted the reality was much more positive.
“Women are more involved in sports. They’re more interested in what’s going on,” Claire told Us. “That’s great for all parties. I’m huge on empowering women. We can all be great, we can all be successful.”
Meanwhile, NFL fullback Kyle and Kristin also tied the knot back in 2019 after debuting their relationship via Instagram in 2014.
The couple became engaged after Kyle proposed on a beach in 2017 and have had each other’s backs throughout their entire relationship.
Kristin regularly cheers on Kyle during his football games, while the NFL star isn’t afraid to be vocal in supporting his wife’s career.
In July, Kyle spoke to Us about watching Kristin’s design business flourish.
“It’s been absolutely incredible,” Kyle gushed. “It’s a dream come true. Something I’ve always said is that I recognize the greatness in her. It’s just so fun that everyone else is seeing it now too.”
Since their wedding in Upstate New York five years ago, Kyle and Kristin have marked every year of their union with a special ritual.
“Kyle and I decided to start a new tradition last night! On our wedding anniversary we’re going to put on our dress and tux (however long we can fit into it 🤞🏼) and reflect on how much we’ve grown and changed from the previous year,” Kristin shared via Instagram in July 2020. “I love making traditions with you, I LOVE our new addition to our family 🐶 & I love wearing my wedding dress bc only getting to wear it one day just isn’t fair.”
