Karamo Brown proves he’s just like Us with how much he loves Queen Bey.
“The last album that I stood in line for was an autographed Beyoncé album,” Brown, 43, exclusively shares in the newest issue of Us Weekly. “She was in L.A. and all of a sudden, she dropped off a bunch of albums [at a store] and I literally got into that line immediately and got me a copy.”
Brown famously showed off his love for the Grammy winner alongside his Queer Eye castmates during a 2019 episode of Lip Sync Battle. The group channeled their inner pop stars to sing and dance along to Beyoncé’s hit song “Grown Woman,” complete with their own versions of her iconic 2018 Coachella outfit.
As fans wait for Queer Eye to return for season 9, they can catch Brown back on the small screen with new episodes of his eponymous talk show, Karamo.
The Emmy winner tells Us that he credits the show’s success to “the fans who believe in me, who support my career, who see that I’m genuinely hoping to help them to be better.”
He adds: “I think one of the things I created with the show is to embrace the mess, because I think we all have messy moments. And I think that people understand that we embrace the mess, but then the next step is moving forward to figuring out a solution, a resolution. And that’s what they see that my show is about.”

Us: When’s the last time you did your own laundry?
Brown: Two days ago. I do my own laundry. I don’t want nobody else touching my laundry. I even have this steamer that helps me dry-clean my own stuff. I’m one of those type of guys that it brings me comfort to wash and fold clothes.
Us: What is your go-to DoorDash order?
Brown: Usually Panda Express or Chipotle. If I get home from a long day, those are getting ordered immediately and there immediately.
Us: What food do you eat when no one’s watching?
Brown: My diet is bad and I’m not ashamed of it. I will eat anything in front of anyone. I’m also not a messy eater, so I can eat anything in front of anyone.
Us: What was the last show you binged?
Brown: I binged Baby Reindeer, which was amazing. I just started Selling Sunset; this season is so good.
Us: What was the last item that you ordered online?
Brown: A bag for my best friend. His birthday’s in January, and the item I ordered him takes a while to get here. … I need him to be surprised at what’s coming.
Us: Who was the last celebrity that you asked for a selfie?
Brown: Angela Bassett. It was at the Creative Arts Emmys. She had just won her first Emmy and she came up to me and we screamed, we hugged, we’re friends, and I was just so proud and happy for her. The industry likes to play in that woman’s face, and I’m glad that she’s getting her due. Come on now. She should have had 10 Oscars by now and 10 Emmys and some Tonys — everything!
