As much as Palmer enjoys learning about the lives of historical figures, he also loves diving into a good book. He tells Us that his current read is Gabriel García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude.

“[The] Nobel Prize-winning novel is simply a masterpiece and a cornerstone example of magical realism, which I love!” he gushes.

Outside of his top entertainment pics, Palmer is also obsessed with the cast of The Golden Bachelorette’s debut season. The host previously told Us that he formed connections with many of Joan Vassos’ contestants while filming and asked them for fatherhood advice.

“I just wanted to pick their brains on the dos and don’ts of raising a daughter,” he exclusively shared in September. “The guys could not have been more genuine, more generous with their time and their advice [and] supportive of one another. They were funny.”

Palmer went on to gush: “I knew on that very first night, I was just gonna love this entire group of guys. “I mean this, I’m always trying to hang out with the cast off-camera as much as possible. But this group of guys, they were such a joy to be around. I’m so happy that we get to show more of their personalities this season and peel the layers back to who they are because they really are a special group of guys.”
