TactoTek said IMSE technology offers a host of benefits, including clean additive manufacturing processes and the consolidation of multiple electronic components into a single, lightweight structure. By incorporating electronics directly into thin plastic surfaces, IMSE enables advanced lighting features and HMIs that are not only sustainable but also visually appealing.

Commenting on the collaboration, TactoTek CEO Jussi Harvela highlighted the significant sustainability benefits of IMSE technology, noting its potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50%. He expressed confidence in the seamless integration of IMSE technology with Polestar’s vision of building sustainable solutions while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
